MACBETH THE MUSICAL COMEDY

You've read the famous story of greed and gore in Scotland—but do you know the catchy tunes? Our Macbeth, a tad confused, keeps spouting lines from Hamlet (much to the annoyance of the other characters), Lady Macbeth is obsessed with dry-cleaning the castle drapes, and King Duncan boasts that he invented plaid. Join us in the Museum of Discovery’s Big Backyard for a little “double, double, toil and trouble” like you never experienced before!

Sing, act and make new friends while preparing a play performance for the Fort Collins Fringe Festival.
***Special performance scheduled during the Fort Collins Fringe Festival July 25-28. #FoCoFringe is a live performance-art festival. For the the full festival show schedule and information, please visit www.fringefestivalfortcollins.com

We spend 2 weeks acting and singing as we produce “Macbeth the Musical Comedy.” In addition to the free show at the end in our studio, the cast perform in the Fort Collins Fringe Festival July 26, 27, and 28 at the Museum of Discovery Big Backyard. All students receive full passes to Festival performances and activities, including opening and closing ceremonies at the Lyric Cinema.

  • Monday through Friday 10am - 3pm for two weeks.

  • All actors play a role in an age-appropriate musical.

  • Everyone has lines and solos. Small class size.

  • Students learn the production process of a theatre festival, including quick touring load-in, load-out practices.
