AUGUST 1, 8, 15, 22: Thursdays 6pm-7:30pm

This class is designed for all levels, whether you’ve been doing improv for 15 years or trying it for the first time. This class is a weekly meet up with an Improv Spirit Guide who will prepare fun games and encourage you to dive deeper into the more nuanced technique of improv that can only be gained by jamming with other improvisers and getting your feet wet. This class will look at long form in addition to short form.

nstructor: Alex Forbes

Alex has been performing improv since she was nine years old. She took children’s acting and improv classes at Colorado College as a youngster, then explored her interest in comedy further during her time in Loveland’s Integrated School of the Arts program as a pre-teen. During her high school years she was an original member of the improv troupe at Harrington Arts Academy, which prepared her to lead the University of Wyoming’s improv team a few years later. After her time at UW Alex returned to Northern Colorado where she joined Fort Collins’s premier improv troupe, the Comedy Brewers. Alex’s passion is to share her love of improv with anyone and everyone - and La-De-Da is simply the greatest place to partake in that enthusiasm!
