Fort Collins Fringe Festival

The Second-Ever Fort Collins Fringe Festival (FCFF) will occur September 5 and 6, 2014 at the Dome Theatre (Fort Collins Museum of Discovery), the Community Creative Center (CCC) and its surrounding outdoor park spaces in downtown Fort Collins.

“Fringe” is theatre that is off the beaten path; that won’t find its home in an average theatre company season line-up. “Fringe” means exploring new boundaries, new venues, new ways of shaping and sharing a story. The FCFF honors the Fringe tradition by presenting fresh, new works in unexpected, unusual spaces such as Library Park, a parking lot, the CCC classroom and the CCC main art gallery.

Short, rapid-fire, back-to-back, diverse theatrical pieces will be presented at the Dome Theatre on Friday, September 5 with free-to-the-public performances all day on Saturday, September 6, culminating into an affordable, ticketed main event Saturday evening in the CCC gallery.

The Fringe gives a fresh, new opportunity to performing artists, writers, directors, audiences, local businesses and organizations to collaborate, explore, develop and present new work.
